Jubilee-Lake View hands out 11k Pounds of Food

Jubilee-Lake View University Prep hosted a food drive Tuesday, September 10, benefitting its very own families and staff.

Parent Liaison, Mrs. Sonia Elizondo partnered with the San Antonio Food Bank who provided 11,000 pounds of food for distribution.

Non-perishables, vegetables, fruit, drinks, pastries and more were packaged and handed out in the parking lot of Lake View beginning at 11am.

And regardless of the heat, over 20 parent volunteers organized, boxed up and loaded vehicles for other parents!

A huge shout out to all the volunteers! Thank you for helping us give back to our wonderful teachers, staff and families in need.
